Enso The Italian Chef

Born in Torino (Turin), Italy, Enso grew up with fourteen brothers and sisters.  His passion for cooking took hold at a young age while he observed others enjoying it. 

After working at a restaurant in Torino, Enso moved to England at the age of nineteen where he joined La Galleria restaurant in Birmingham.  In 1972 he opened a new restaurant with his brother in Regent St, Bristol which they sold after ten successful years.

After spending six months chefing in France and at Innsbrook in Austria, Enso returned to England to open the Milano Restaurant in Birmingham where he remained.

During his extensive career Enso has cooked and socialised with TV chefs Rick Stein, Jamie Oliver and Keith Floyd as well as appearing on TV himself.  He has cooked for Pavarotti, Bobby Robson, Jasper Carrot, David Neilson, Inter Milan, Aston Villa and the Australian Cricket team among many other famous patrons.

Now he has joined us here at Milano's Restaurant, Norton Manor.
